Of course an old teratologist is going to immediately check the number of digits and conformation of the palate. Looking good so far!
(also it wouldn’t matter if he has six toes and a facial abnormality — still my grandson.)

It has been postulated that “metamaterials” used as ultrasound lenses could increase image resolution up to a factor of four.
This will obviously make the images less prone to ambiguities and make it possible to detect severe conditions at an early stage.

There is some village in Colombia or Ecuador where six digits per hand are common. They do not seem to suffer from adverse health. In fact, it might be an advantage if you are planning a career as concert pianist.
