Definitely a monarch egg. It has the right shape, surface, color, everything. And, of course, it’s laid on a milkweed plant. Good to see that some of them are surviving even in the upper Mid-west.
I know it’s a reach, but, speaking of laying eggs, all the huge egg corporations’ industrial farms in Arizona are so irresponsible that have not done anything to prevent massive infections and now millions of chickens have caught bird flu and had to be slaughtered. WTF!
