Minnesota pride

Not to confuse anyone — we also have gay pride events all across the state — but I’m talking about general pride in one’s state, which seems to be doing a lot of right things, in addition to being a regular rainbow state.

Even our ‘criminals’ are heroic.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota on Tuesday announced that 15 Antifa members have been indicted for their alleged roles in conspiring to hinder federal immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis earlier this year.

The suspects, 12 of whom are in custody, are all charged with conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer, according to a 94-page criminal complaint, and some are charged with further crimes. Federal prosecutors allege that each suspect took part in a conspiracy to obstruct federal immigration enforcement officers, including ICE personnel, through force, intimidation and threats.

The suspects are alleged members of the Antifa cell Direct Action Minnesota Network (DAMN), a radical far-left group accused of coordinating operations against federal immigration officers.

Hah, “radical far-left”. Those are just normal Minnesotans resisting the real criminals, the fascist state. Spread the news: most of us are antifa to some degree. There are almost 6 million citizens here, they better be prepared to arrest 3 million.

Anyway, Minnesotans are disgracefully and arrogantly proud of our state for many reasons, including our generally progressive politics. There’s a song about it.

Now if only we could be so unashamedly proud of our whole dang country, but it’s going to take a lot of work to change that course.

This case is very similar to the recent Broadview Six case outside of Chicago. This case was the arrest of demonstrators outside an ICE prison, and the fake charges they were facing, including felonies. One of those charged was Kat Abughazaleh, a candidate for the IL-10 district House of Representatives seat. She came in second in the Democratic Party primary.

    Chicago Sun Times:

The “Broadview Six” case revolved around a September protest outside a suburban immigration facility, where a crowd pushed and allegedly damaged a federal agent’s SUV. From that crowd, prosecutors charged only six people, largely involved in local Democratic politics, raising questions about selective prosecution and freedom of expression.

The charges were dismissed by the judge after reading the Grand Jury transcripts.
The federal prosecutors committed numerous crimes to get those indictments and are now in serious trouble themselves.
Among them, they lied to the Grand Jury, and presented the same charges several times after dismissing the jurors who voted against the indictments.

Broadview 6′ fallout expands to Washington, as Raskin calls for probe of Chicago’s top federal prosecutor

Rep. Jamie Raskin, a Maryland Democrat, joins a list of elected officials who have slammed U.S. Attorney Andrew Boutros over his handling of the now-tainted case. In a letter exclusively obtained by the Sun-Times, Raskin said investigations “are critical first steps to begin rebuilding the public confidence that Mr. Boutros has smashed up and destroyed.”

The House Judiciary Committee’s top Democrat is calling for an immediate investigation of U.S. Attorney Andrew Boutros over revelations in the tainted “Broadview Six” case, accusing Chicago’s top federal prosecutor of “incalculable damage to public confidence in his office.”

Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, demanded the probe in a letter sent Tuesday to the Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility and Illinois’ Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.

It details the alleged misconduct by a member of Boutros’ staff during grand jury proceedings that led to the indictment against six Operation Midway Blitz protesters.

“By tampering with the grand jury, Mr. Boutros and his team corrupted and contaminated the deliberative process, hollowed out the protection that the Constitution guarantees and violated the would-be defendants’ right to due process,” Raskin, ranking member of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Judiciary Committee, wrote in the letter exclusively obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.

Raskin cited potential violations of professional rules requiring “candor to the courts” and said “investigations into those violations are critical first steps to begin rebuilding the public confidence that Mr. Boutros has smashed up and destroyed.”

The letter amounts to the highest-profile call yet for accountability following the collapse of the “Broadview Six” case late last month. A chorus of local Democratic elected officials has called for Boutros’ resignation, including U.S. Sens. Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth. But Raskin’s letter shows the scandal has now registered with high-ranking Democrats from outside Illinois.

Most of the demonstrators who get arrested by the police will have their charges dismissed or be found not guilty if they go to court.
This is because almost all of these charges are fake, bogus, made up, lies.

The police claim this guy assaulted them.
The video show this guy on the ground while the police beat him with their clubs.

The prosecutors claim there was a conspiracy.
In reality, none of the defendants knew each other or had any communications before they were arrested.

ICE claims they were in fear for their lives.
Multiple videos show ICE agents shooting unarmed civilians doing nothing, i.e. Goodman and Pretti.

The police and prosecutors lie a lot.
When it goes to court, they don’t have any evidence and the available evidence shows they are lying. Case dismissed.

The police and prosecutors know these charges are fake and aren’t going to work in court.
    They don’t care.

    The charges are the punishment.
It cost two of the Broadview Six $250,000 in legal fees to show that their was major prosecutorial misconduct in the Federal Attorney’s office in Chicago.
