Looks like FTB is going wild! I see a ton of great shameless commerce going on, out there. So I’d like to tease a bit of what else is coming down my auction pipeline.
Yesterday I published a posting that was substantially wrong. Ow! [stderr] But, it got me looking into the question of how cop departments pay off awards against them. It’s unsurprisingly murky, but there are stories that indicate how the delicate maneuvers are made.
It was a historic moment, when the city council of Minneapolis agreed that they would defund the police. [npr] But – and there’s always a “but” – guess what didn’t happen?
The Coyote Committee sometimes has their meetings right under my bedroom window. At this point, I sleep right through them, but I’ve had house-guests come crashing into my bedroom in terror at 2am saying “there is a ghost downstairs!”
I’m not a fan of criminal justice systems, since they are often poorly concealed state authortarianism, i.e.: in the US it’s a racist/classist arm of the racist/classist state. Ugh. But this tickles my fancy, right now.

I took a couple days off and worked slowly on the high-intensity parts like re-shaping the top curve. I measured and the sawz-all was giving me about 3″/minute and my forearms and hands would start cramping after about 15 minutes. All in all, it was not too bad (good grip strength exercise!) but it was hardly what I would call “fun.”
