Registration for the Fifth International Volvox Conference, July 26-29 in Tokyo, is now open!

Early bird registration (before June 1) maxes out at only 15,000 Japanese Yen, around $135. Here’s the full list of early bird fees:

Registration:
Faculty – 15,000 yen (~$135)
Graduate Student & Postdoctoral Fellows – 12,000 yen (~$110)
Accompanying person – 4,000 yen (~$36)
Undergraduate Student – 0 yen (FREE!)

Banquet fee:
Faculty – 11,000 yen (~$100)
Graduate Student & Postdoctoral Fellows – 8,000 yen (~$72)
Accompanying person – 8,000 yen (~$72)
Undergraduate Student – 8,000 yen (~$72)

One-day excursion to Tsukuba Science City fee:
3,000 yen (~$27)

Registration includes two lunches, and the banquet fee covers two dinners. So a faculty member who attended both dinners and the Tsukuba Science City excursion would only pay 29,000 yen, around $260, students and postdocs even less.
