Last summer there were a dozen or so Blue Jays living nearby, but when dad went in the hospital I wasn’t putting peanuts or other food out often enough so they left a scribbled note mentioning something about Jimmy Carter and Georgia and I haven’t seen a single one since. It’s so quiet in the mornings without them.
