The Quotation: “Since the music plays so briefly, can you blame me if I dance?” From Cuttlefish’s most beautiful poem, My Place (In The Dance Of The Universe). Not the best shot, but snow and ice were hampering my efforts. Click for full size.

Cuttlefish says
Oh, that is gorgeous!
I love it!
Caine says
I’m so happy you’re pleased! If you’d like me to send the original, send me an email (there’s a link for my email on the sidebar) as to who and where I send it to.
Cuttlefish says
Will most certainly do!
Caine says
Great! It did suffer a very small bit of water staining from an ice pellet, I hope that doesn’t matter. Here are the runners up to Dance:
Cuttlefish says
Decades from now, the information about the ice-pellet stain will be used as proof that this is the genuine artwork, when the cuttlekids are lawyering up and fighting over my estate.
Caine says
Cuttlefish:
Hee. I didn’t think of it that way!
chigau (違う) says
That looks like Spring, too.
Caine says
Chigau:
Now that you say, I can see growing things in it.
chigau (違う) says
Caine
for me it’s the lilacs and violets in the upper right
♥ that colour
Caine says
Chigau:
Yeah, it’s pretty. Daler Rowney Moon Violet Pearlescent Liquid Acrylic.
rq says
Mm, yes, violets -- the current crop of early spring flowers are more blue, definitely violets and lilacs caught in the movement here!
Caine says
It’s interesting, the flower thing. I wasn’t thinking about that at all, but the brightly lit heart of chaos, stars, and the velvet dark of the universe. I went with purple because it’s close to black on the colour scale.
rq says
It’s violets or lightning, if you ask me. :)
Caine says
rq, that works. :)
