Gun in one hand, Quran in the other.

You can not kill ISIS by killing ISIS. You have to kill the root of ISIS from where ISIS were born. That is Islam. Islam must either be reformed or destroyed for humanity to survive.

ISIS will not be destroyed
if you do not allow critical scrutiny of Islam,
if you do not stop brainwashing children with Islam,
if you do not stop building Quranic schools,
and if you do not abolish sharia laws.

The Quran inspires people to kill. The relation between Islam and violence, you like to hear or not, is very intimate. Muhammad the prophet started it, and his followers continued it.

For me these children are sadly another victims of religion. The same picture can turn happy with a comics in one hand and a doll in the other.

I cannot believe so many people are and have converted to Islam. It is by far the most violent “religion” in the world. Their “god” is not a loving god, their god inspires people to behead “infidels,” again, treat women like dirt, and so many more negative things. What kind of religion is that?! A religion of hate, misogyny, and evil.

I would kindly request to you that before believing in what you see on media all the time just give little time and read the quran yourself n than make judgments about the religion. A humble request please

You spoke about reforming or destroying the religion but the pressing question is how can that be done. I was looking into the teachings of the Bahai faith which is a very moderate adaptation of all the best things in Islam. But even they were being persecuted for not being true followers of Islam. Obviously, genocides like in the case of ISIS can’t be the only option every time.

I have learnt about Islam a lot
Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing…

but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)”
Quran (2:216) – “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”
Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
there are many more verses like that. Mohammed himself was beheading people and he also married young child (when she was 6) he had many sex slaves and few wives,
sorry brother but that is no religion of peace, islam is only at peace with you if you agree with it and go along with stupid laws, if not being killed is the only option,

Ms. Nasrin, I agree. However, i think the roots runn deeper than just Islam. I think ISIS, Bajrang Dal, White Knights for Christ, and now, Armed Buddhists, all find their roots in Religion, the noun. If I were to become Emperor, the first edict i’d pass would be to make the practice of one’s religion as private as our least elegant and solitary ablution; in a private, well ventilated area, away from the public ken, the door firmly, and decently, closed.
I applaud the courage of your conviction. Keep on keepin’ on, Ms. N.
