It’s fascinating to see the different ways that the “trade truce” is being reported. It also scares me because it illustrates how unquestioningly the press reports from government-issued press releases.
Imagine that you go to play roulette in a casino, and the house wins unusually frequently. For example, every time. So you go the the caisse and say, “have you noticed that…?”
There’s one part of my property that’s basically a bog. Things grow really well there, because there are a half-dozen springs that ooze water even in dry summers. So far, anyway; I’m sure eventually the frackers will drain the water-table.
