At a time when the pandemic is surging across the world including the US, and we know that it is mainly transmitted by airborne droplets, what does one make of people who think that it is funny to deliberately breathe into the faces of other people who are taking the appropriate precautions?
A Trump supporter outside Trump’s golf club who was not wearing a mask deliberately breathed on people who had asked him to keep away. He has now been arrested and charged with assault.
A man seen forcefully exhaling on two women outside President Donald Trump’s Virginia golf course has been charged with assault.
Raymond Deskins, 61, was charged with misdemeanor assault after a private citizen obtained a warrant through a county magistrate, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday. Deskin did not immediately return a request for comment.
…The altercation happened Saturday outside Trump National Golf Club, where the president was playing. Protestors and supporters regularly gather outside the club’s entrance when he plays.
Deskin was wearing a Trump shirt and an inflatable pool tube with Trump’s likeness on it around his waist.
Several members of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors sent a letter to law enforcement authorities Sunday asking for a full investigation. The letter said the two women had been protesting the president outside the golf club.

Arrested and charged… but only after the victims sought out a magistrate’s warrant privately. Because the local sheriffs didn’t see it happening so wouldn’t do anything.

In similar news, two inebriated reprobates from Washington state started hurling racist slurs at a lyft driver, filming themselves doing it and posting it online. They ignorantly assumed the driver would be fired for telling them to get out of his car. Because white privilege, no doubt.
Instead, the two have been fired from their jobs and their landlord is trying to evict them. I’m sure they’ll call themselves “victims” but likely have no problem with LGBTQIA people being evicted simply for being alive.

There was a recent “Cletus Safari” in the local rag (San Francisco Chronicle) burbling about how we “need to unite” with the cultists. It showed a photograph with a sign showing Donal Dtrump, a fat, old, used-his-daddy-to-avoid-service, hater of exercise as RAMBO. How does one “unite” with a cultist?
How and why does anyone WORSHIP a politician anyway? I never worshipped Obama (who, like almost any American President, was guilty, objectively, of war crimes….if he even bothered to declare a war). I just don’t get it. I mean, I do. He represents the nasty id of a certain kind of white person. (I am white, so I can say this).

I meant only that within the white community, some of us recognize the historical problems of “whiteness”, even though we are ourselves white (and benefit from that status.
