I really like her. She’s great at staying on point and not getting drawn away by red herrings, straw people, etc. And she’s really great at presenting some of these issues into basic concepts that most people should be able to understand.
I really hope she is just the first of many more like her.
To the extent that we have a functioning health care system, we are already paying for it. Paying your money through the government rather than through a profit-taking corporation is not a new expenditure, just a different mechanism.
To the extent that we do not have a health care system that functions well, this is a failing and we should make changes to correct it.
