Idiot human. You should be thankful you weren’t stupid enough to try that with a blue-ring.

Did she choose her blouse to match the octopus? :-P

I didn’t realize Alien was a documentary.

This is why you shouldn’t play with your food. Food doesn’t volunteer to be food and animals selected for use as food, given the opportunity to express their objection.
I guess I understand what you’re saying, but I think blaming the octopus is the wrong thing to do here. /s
Seriously though, I was just kinda shocked by the whole thing. How did this octopus get suck to her face? Was this at an aquarium and she thought she might snuggle the mollusk? Was this at a live seafood shop? – I know that they sometimes sell octopuses in China the way live lobsters are sold in Canada. (Heck, we might sell octopuses that way here. T&T, maybe?) Was this near the ocean and she’d just personally grabbed an octopus from a tide pool?
The octopus has my sympathy whatever the case, but I can’t stop my brain from demanding context.

CD, this is the internet. <clickety-click>
A Chinese vlogger live-streamed herself attempting to eat a live octopus – when the animal latched onto her face and refused to let go, ripping her skin in the process.
It does seem sus, but. Typically, those live octopuses fit into the mouth, the real hazard is choking*. So this was probably a stunt, in my estimation. For (successful) notoriety.
