Definitely up there with the Dalek Relaxation Tape (look it up on YouTube).

‘Doctor Who Parody’. Pretty much the definition of ‘redundant’. What’s next? ‘Sherlock Parody’? ‘”Weird Al” Yankovic Parody’?

Do be sure to watch the Behind the Scenes. It’s 59 minutes but well worth it. “Donna” was great. And all those characters in the big dance number! Hard to spot them all.

I’d like to see him try those dance moves wearing a 12 foot long scarf ala Tom Baker.

@ # 6: One can in fact parody a parody.

serena @9: Indeed one can. Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery was, at least, somewhat original in its mockery/homage. Simply going more over the top than your subject, or adding obvious shit like “The Time Warp”, doesn’t cut it.
I made a silly little Dalek video a while back, inspired by goofing around with the kids in the car one day.
It was fun mucking around with a software ring modulator to do the voices.
I’m pretty sure this will be the only time posting a link to this video could be considered on-topic! :)

That was cute as hell. The voice, the inflections, damned near perfect, for the Doctor and Martha and Donna. And the Time Warp was perfect. Very well done.

Hmph. You know the window the Daleks and Cybermen went through; back into the void?
I was there. I’ve stared out of that window. (Trufact.)
They’ve fixed it up peachy, the Torchwood gang. You’d never know it happened.

In other news, Murray Gold haz a sad. Timewarp? Seriously? I’d have gone with science fiction double feature, for the meta-reference.

Wow, I was not expecting it to be that good!!

The Hindi sisters! I love those guys! Spot-on impressions and parodies–if you haven’t seen their Hobbit one, I recommend it. (their Twilight ones are a mixed bag–it spotlights their learning curve nicely, and if that’s the sort of thing you enjoy, lampoons the series beautifully)

OMG, the tear-streaked makeup effect. And Dalek end tables!

Wow I could have sworn that was Tennant talking, but he’s not in the credits…

I’m impressed with how close their “Donna” was, but I didn’t see Captain Jack in there.

Very nicely done, superb production values. I just might subscribe to that. :)
Thanks for the lolz, PZed.

BRAVO! That was superb! The Time Wrap was spot-on, and I particularly liked the way they re-created several Doctor Who scenes.
And as said above, watch the Making Of… video as well.
I didn’t realize the Doctor was not being voiced by the actor until I saw the credits, and even then didn’t realize why until I watched the Making Of…
