The closest I can think of is the more ethnically diverse Earth-D, which of course got destroyed right after being introduced.
Which I’d have appreciated more if it had been created before Crisis on Infinite Earths, as opposed 10+years later.

Thinking about the idea I’m surprised DC hasn’t done one of their “Elseworlds” things where Superman or Batman are black.
I’d love to see a good writer tackle a young Kal-El being found and raised by a kindly black couple in the late 19teens, early 1920s. How different would Superman be I wonder?

Bats and birds are confused in the pre-(Bat)Carpenter’s son lore, so confusing bats and magic sky faeries simply continues the tradition.

Well, there’s Steel, kinda sorta.

Steel is a character inspired by Superman, though. He’s far from a black version of Superman.
