I had a dream about a cat who is no longer with us named Casper. He was a big grey and white medium haired cat with yellow eyes.
He was in a field behind the house, though we’ve never lived in a house with a field behind it. I called him over.
Suddenly his tail was shorter than it was. I was skritching him while he purred, realized I was dreaming and told him to bring the rest of his tail next time. Then I woke up. Good thing too because I probably wouldn’t have remembered that part if the dream went on longer.
That was nice.

most nights i’m lucky to remember anything. unfortunately, almost every time i dream about cats, they are sick or deformed or dying or in danger. a relatively nice dream about a cat is a great thing.
