Mary’s Monday Metazoan: The 60 foot long jet powered animal you’ve all heard of by now
Lots of sites have been talking about this creature this weekend, so I’m late to the party…but stand in awe of the tentacular pyrosome now, if you haven’t already.
In most excellent cephalopod news, here in Washington, the state Wildlife Commission voted unanimously to ban the taking of the Giant Pacific Octopus in a bunch of locations. I’m hopeful that they’ll extend the ban to all locations in Washington.
