Back in college, I took a course in political theory. Not a fun course.
One bit that I do remember, though, was my professor stating that a really good working definition of fascism, in addition to the fetishization of action for actions sake, in addition to the worship of the military, in addition to extreme xenophobia, nationalism and perceived victimhood, was the idea that the government, or the head of government, cannot break the law. Yup. Trump is a fascist. What he says is the law.
