I find it be an ugly story, it’s about people who hunt, and the casual cruelty to animals, with a dead hare narrating. It is supposed to be an anti-hunting story, but it dwells on the cruelty a great deal, and in the end, the cruel, thoughtless moron who killed the hare and more is forgiven, blah, blah, blah.
