Pretty much any medically historical text makes me happy to live in the 21st century of readily available science-based medicine.
I’m still mesmerized, though, by the idea that the best way to get items and humans from space onto a planetary surface… is to drop them. For some reason, the two ideas go together for me as a pair of contrasts.
