Come now, Romney’s just being a good Mormon, following the example of his religion’s founder – lying his arse off for power and money.

Typical CEO, not looking past the next quarter. He doesn’t have a clue what he’d actually do if he got elected.

Yeah, but it’s northeasterners, so it’s not like they’re real ‘muricans, anyway.

When I was a little boy I always took comfort in the notion that when I grew up not only would I be smarter and more capable but so would everyone else. The net effect would be a fundamentally better world.

    Damn. I was wrong.

Mitt Romney is just the latest salt rubbed into that raw spot in my mind.

If I were a praying man I’d be invoking all the powers and principalities to strike him down.

I’m not a praying man, the P&Ps aren’t striking and here are all these lackwits applauding. My fellow citizens, applauding!

Oh, the unfortunate dreams of youth!

Don’t forget though, this video has the opposite of the intended effect on those who live in the alternate right-wing universe.

“Romney wants to help families, not drunks and drug addicts like those leeches who died in New Orleans. Why didn’t they leave when they were told to? And don’t tell me they didn’t have cars – they were able to get to the liquor store every day, they could have gotten out if they wanted to.”

My mom recently told me “well why didn’t they get on the buses we sent down before the storm?” Seriously.

Yes,.. when I was in my early youth, this science-head used to think,..to daydream… much the same thing. And like you (as I went through my twenties, thirties, forties) I came to find out that I was sadly mistaken–and I know I’ll see it get worse before it gets better… if ever.
