I’ve been a bit quiet and distant lately, or I feel that I have.
I’ve been a bit quiet and distant lately, or I feel that I have.
Out here, it was pretty calm, and boring as usual.
This is embarrassing but I’ve just got to rant a little bit about “conservatives” and conservative pride in their ignorance.
My theory of republican projection predicts that the reason republicans are so “worried” about vote fraud in mail-in ballots is because they’re frauding the hell out of things. We’ll see. Out here in Pennsylvania, on the rural back road, there is zero excitement for Biden; it’s all Trump signs. And confederate flags.
Does this look like we’re done with the outbreak?
This story has not gotten enough media coverage. I suspect it’s because the news has discovered that ordinary Trump crimes don’t sell papers anymore; none of it matters.
I have to admit I don’t believe most of what politicians say, and after Obama I feel like “don’t get fooled again” is the response to promises about stopping wars and closing Gitmo, etc. In fact, I am still angry (you can probably tell!) about that – I got excited and fell for the marketing message of hope and change, and it was a lie.
From Malcolm X’s “The Ballot or The Bullet” speech:
If you despise US electoral politics, you may want to skip this one.
You may want to skip this one if you loathe American politics.
