I recently had to grade a B.Sc thesis which involved a lot of prompt engineering (in the context of RAG systems, which use GPT, without the “chat”). Some new nuggets of “wisdom” I learned from it were:
– Not being polite, not saying “thank you” etc… improves the quality of an answer
– Promising rewards “I will give you a million dollars for a better answer” improves the quality of an answer
Basically, treat AI the way Drumpf treats his underlings. Order them about like they’re your slaves and then skip out on paying them… and that’s how revolutions start.
