It’s Like They Burned a Cross On His Yard Or Something

Tucker Carlson discovers that being creeped on is creepy. Rolls an ’01’ on his privilege check.

Tucker “They call it gun control but really it is people control” Carlson turns out to be a complete chickenshit. I know you’re surprised. [salon]

“It wasn’t a protest. It was a threat. They weren’t protesting anything specific that I had said. They weren’t asking me to change anything. They weren’t protesting a policy or advocating for legislation. … They were threatening me and my family and telling me to leave my own neighborhood in the city that I grew up in,” Carlson told The Post.

In other words, he experienced what many people of color experience and have experienced for hundreds of years. I’m not surprised he didn’t like it because … it sucks. At least he was able to assume that the cops would come stick up for him if he called them, and they wouldn’t shoot him and say he was “scary.”

I don’t approve of scaring the shit out of douchebags like Carlson. He’s not capable of learning from it.

Hwhat?! Free speech! Deplatforming! Constitutional Rights! Witch hunt! [/depressed sarcasm*]

*Because you can’t tell it from the reaction you see when if it happens to the fascist activist groups.

Presumably someone like Carlson can afford bodyguards who bring their own guns. Given what he and his FOX colleagues have been preaching after every shooting since the dawn of time, being surrounded by a group of good guys with guns should make him feel exceptionally safe and comfortable. I’m surprised he doesn’t already have some. He doesn’t, does he?

This reminds me of a film I saw some years ago “The Edukators” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Edukators). In general, I don’t like watching movies, because my brain lacks the ability to correctly interpret some aspects of acting. I really liked this film, though. It’s about two young people who spend their nights “educating” upper-class assholes by breaking into their houses, moving furniture around and leaving notes saying “die fetten Jahre sind vorbei” (“the days of plenty are over,” literally: “the fat years are over”) or “Sie haben zu viel Geld” (“you have too much money”). They don’t steal anything, they don’t even damage any material valuables, all they do is move furniture around and leave the note. In the movie police responds by treating them like dangerous and highly sought-after criminals, for some reason they are perceived as much more dangerous than the average burglar, who, theoretically, causes a lot more material damage. After all, it’s not like you can have a rich person feel scared. Intimidation must be reserved solely for the poor people who must spend their days fearing getting shot by a cop, getting ill and being unable to afford the medical bill, losing their shitty job and becoming homeless, etc.

By the way, it’s not like I support crime or intimidation, but I don’t like the double standard. If a similar intimidation campaign was organized against a poor victim instead of Tucker Carlson, then the police or news media wouldn’t give a fuck. In fact, I have heard about countless cases where some poor person had their windows broken at home or they were anonymously threatened online, and then the police didn’t even bother to do anything at all. (That’s exactly how the police reacted when my aunt had the windows of her apartment broken.)

OK. They are calling for more civility? REALLY?

We did try to get civility in public discourse. The Republicans contemptuously labeled it “PC” and disdained it, and actually claimed we had too much of it and it was ruining the country. In fact, during Trump rallies, the supporters wear a T-shirt that says “Fuck Your Feelings”. So there you go, Republicans. You feel like civility is not important. So Fuck Your Feelings, Tucker Carlson. This is what you stand for and uphold. Yay for you? How does that **feel**, Tucker Carlson?

Freaking idiot. I think it’s true he’s too stupid to learn.
