It appears that people who worked for Trump are finding it difficult to get jobs after he leaves office.
With less than a week to go in the Trump White House, staffers are reportedly frantically looking for their next gig. They’re not having a lot of luck.
After two months of the President challenging election results and last week’s attack on the Capitol, the cushy corporate and Hollywood jobs that usually await administration staffers after they leave the White House don’t seem to be there. One public relations recruiter who said more than a dozen staffers inquired about working with them claims that they took on six as clients, but weren’t able to even land interviews for any of them, Business Insider reported.
…Shockingly, it appears that people who voluntarily worked in the Trump White House have a sense of entitlement.
“They’re all very all about themselves with narcissistic attitudes, thinking any company in the country will want to hire me,” the recruiter told BI. “I listened to one for about 20 minutes, and it was so much baloney, what he was spewing out to me.”
So the people who stuck with Trump to the end are people who are just like him. That figures.

Surprising, because these fuckers usually have the top jobs stitched up, but really very nice to know they might be suffering, even if only a little bit. They won’t starve, and I wouldn’t wish them to, but I do hope they have to get actual jobs, rather than cushy sinecures like they’re obviously expecting.
I suppose all those personal connections you normally get and profit off of when hiring members of a former administraiton employees don’t apply when said administration collapses in infamy. Had the current administration done even slightly better* and avoided any failed coups, everyone involved would have been totally fine jobs-wise. If those White House employees seem entitled it’s probably because they were secure until Trump nuked everyone’s future right before the finish line. Awww…
Still, not all is lost: All they need to do is band together, find a publisher and write “Our Time At the Trum White House -- The Encyclopedia of Insider Stories”. Ordered by volumes (A.A.B.Aaronson to Z.Y.Zikorsky), everyone from the Chief of Staff to the Presidential Chicken Refryer gets to contribute their halfpenny. No matter how bad, it would sell: It would be required reading for some unfortunate academics and journalists trying to make sense of everything, and for any book reviewers currently at odds with their chief editor.
*It must be hard to sell anything done during Trump’s presidency as a useful skill

In some cases, the resistance that officials are meeting from would-be employers is extreme. One senior defense official, who has been looking for a new job for two years without luck, recalled a conversation in which they were told that they were considered part of the “Hitler Youth.”
It only got our attention now due to the exodus of the core group of people around Trump finally bailing and finding out that no one wants them.
As meme makers have said, “They should apply for the $1200 cheques.”
