I had to look up Dennis Hastert. I’d heard of him, but didn’t understand Bee’s comment.
Dennis Hastert is the highest-ranking U S politician sent to prison. He was sent up for financial misconduct related to his coverup of him being a serial child molester. The conviction was very recent. How was this not bigger news?
I know I don’t pay much attention, but when a “good Christian” is that horribly bad, when a criminal does a coverup, when a teacher and coach and Boy Scout leader is a child molester, and when a politician knows he has done wrong and still goes on and up, things are so frakking wrong that even I should hear about it.
