The growing split between what the American public and the right wing crazies think about same-sex marriage is making the above question, which should be a no-brainer for any sentient being, now considered to be a tricky, ‘gotcha’ question. Naturally The Daily Show took the chance to have fun over it, especially with Rick Santorum who is looking even crazier this time around than in 2012, something I would not have thought possible.

Well, as Someone who is attending his daughters wedding at the end of June when she marries her long time girl friend, I suppose the answer would be YES!

Would I? I did about a year ago. The whole thing was a party with a brief interruption for the ceremony. It was great; 10/10.

I don’t like weddings, but I’d go to any wedding I was invited to, if the celebrants were friends or even good acquaintances. That’s implicit in the meaning of “friend” to me.
So what these people are saying is “I won’t have gay friends” either. Good to know.
