If you are a Hitchcock fan, as I am, you may like to visit a blog (not mine) called Alfred Hitchcock Geek -- the guy there Joel has some fascinting insights into Hitchcock and his movies and he thinks Hitchcock was influenced greatly by the novel/movie ‘Rebecca’, with which I agree. For example the Hitchcock movie ‘Marnie’ has elements of ‘Rebecca’ (when Marnie is brought home to the grand house of her new husband and her husband’s sister is very cold to Marnie -- just like Danvers in ‘Rebecca’).
