I know you’ve already forgotten that Donald Trump has a blog — I talked about it last month, and pointed out that it wasn’t doing well.
How about now?
The former president has shut down a blog he created just a month ago, though many of his written statements that appeared on it remain on his traditional website, a spokesman said Wednesday.
Trump had used the short-lived blog as an alternative to Twitter, Facebook, and other social media sites that banned him because of his constant false statements about last year’s election loss to President Joe Biden.
He has my sympathies. It takes a certain twisted mindset to maintain a blog, and that’s one psychopathology we can say that he doesn’t have.

The link is broken.
A quick search found that Donald Trump is still blogging under the “news” section of his own website. I’ll save you from having to look by describing it. The blog layout is truly awful, showing article titles only, and every single article title is “Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America”. Each one has a tweet-length post, and I’m sure not going to read any of those.

Bastard snatch snatcher ,I replied to someone on faceache who said TSS had a 98% success rate as a businessman ,he also said because i am a full time carer for my twin brother I am a social parasite ,my reply to him resulted in a 30 day ban .
So I am steering clear of political /britshit sites .
It is a constant struggle when people post calling for nige fargo to be given a knighthood ,or that the boss of witherspoons ,a chain of crap pubs who is a rabid britshitter is moaning about there being no EU workers he can exploit anymore .He is now calling for a limited amount of migration from the EU to work in his pubs .
Get behind me Satan .

Colour me unsurprised that cheetolini’s blogging was an utter failure.
The reality star must not have been getting enough instant gratification for his minimal efforts at getting around his permaban from social media. I suspect his ‘fans’ weren’t sending him enough cash, so he is punishing the blog by not giving it any attention.

There are only so many hours in the day. Mr. Hardest Working President Ever probably figures that he needs to husband his precious minutes to make ready for his upcoming inauguration and reinstatement as POTUS. Which is really, truly, absolutely going to happen. This will be right after General Flynn rides at the head of a column of tanks into DC and does the old Coo-Coo-Caroo Myanmar style. It would all be so fucking hilarious except it’s not.

This fits right in with how I see Trump. Getting anything up and running takes work. Success on the internet is no different. It takes focus, discipline and consistency over a period of months, even years before things take off. Trump gave up after a month because he is lazy and unfocused.

If Trump’s main grifting website has a bloglike section for announcements and such, then what was even the point of launching a “personal social media platform”? I’m guessing desperate attention seeking.
Or perhaps some other grifter had convinced Trump himself that this this other website would somehow enable him to successfully bypass his social media bans. I know his fans were supposed to share the content on mainstream platforms, which was then promptly blocked.

Siggy @ #1 — Now, now. At least one starts: “ICYMI”…how hip. It says “ICYMI: CNN Loses Nearly 70% Of Its Viewers Since Trump Left Office” which is a link to another page on the Save America site, which just has a link to “the full article by Jordan Lancaster for the Daily Caller here.” Click, click, click. Truly Lame.
According to a brief look at Lancaster’s article, all cable news channels lost viewers since Dumpie left, including Fox. Fox just less so. And then there’s the question of the data which is reputedly from Nielsen Media Research and the question of whether Nielsen Ratings still have value. Wikipedia describes the Daily Caller as “a right-wing news and opinion website based in Washington, D.C. It was founded by now-Fox News host Tucker Carlson and political pundit Neil Patel in 2010.” So you know it’s reliable. (Patel and Carlson were college roomies at Trinity College…sweet.)
Personally, I wouldn’t give a fly’s ass if all the “cable news” companies died. While I’m well passed the prime age group of 25-54, the 30-somethings I know don’t get news from TV or cable news.

See, a blog requires commitment. The orange jackass doesn’t have that in him.

Does anybody really think that Trump was capable of blogging himself? This, like most (all?) of the events of his life, was created by others for him. He (they?) obviously pulled the plug because of lack of audience, not to save Trump from “working”.

robro, #9:
Carlson was also on CNN from 2000 to 2005 and MSNBC from 2005 to 2008. So there is that.
Another interesting tidbit from his wiki page:
Yes, he was a “fact-checker” early in his “career in journalism.”
No, it’s true: words have never meant anything.

Sorry, that link should’ve gone to this anchor instead. Whatever. It’s the next section on the page.
