You evil man corrupting young minds. Keep up the good work. I’d be doing the same with my grandson if this bloody virus hadn’t marooned me half an ocean away.

Gramps, first, nice haircut. Second, I envy you. I have an almost 3-year-old I haven’t see for about a year, and she lives 40 minutes from me, but that’s because her mom has serious “issues.” (Not related to me personally, just in life in general).
My own granddads died well before I was born (’47 and ’48), and my grandmothers died when I was relatively young (and the were Midwesterners to my CA upbring). This is mostly true of my parent’s sibs, so not much experience of aunts, uncles, and g’parents in my growing up years. And my parents died when I was young.
Point being, (finally) all the time you can spend with your family (who are mentally healthy) is time well spent. I have fantastic siblings and nieces and nephews.

What a sweet picture. Reminds me of my daughter. She was a little blondie too, and always wanted to learn about bugs, plants, and animals. And eventually space and rockets.
Good morning. Remembering your enthusiasm for spiders, I’m sharing with you an article I stumbled on. Hope you’ll like it, too.

I read that as “quantum grandparenting”.
That gave me an idea – if Iliana is close enough, her sweet nature may slosh over /tunnel through the energy barrier into PZ’s mind.
