It’s true. I’ve only found them in the nice safe warm indoors for the last few months, but here’s Salticus scenicus, who was slowly cruising the sunroom windows today.
It’s probably plotting their trap / web to catch P. Myers, which can also sometimes be found outside this time of year.

I saw a wee little Salticus in the unheated attic today. There was also a ladybug and a couple of flys walking around on the window, which I propped up a bit so they could escape. Spring is popping up all over.
