Recently announced: the decision has been made that Skepticon 12 will be entirely online. Although I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to explore that funky ol’ hotel for spiders, this is probably for the best. I’ll be interested to see how they implement the Cyberspace Skepticon, too.

Any word on attendance fees?
The mildly deranged penguin suggests asking for specimens to be cybered to you so they can crawl out of the USB port and around the desk. It is, after all, the World Wide Web, so quite spider-friendly. Who knows, you might even be Shelob. And lots of new moving creeping crawling toys on your desk would make it quite attractive to teh evil cat.
Skepticon has always been free to attendees — I don’t see why that should change.
