Disney does remakes, I know. I might be slightly worried that they’ll do this one as a live-action remake, ushering in the Age of the Old Ones.

Ironically, it was Disney which turned the Sea Witch — who in H.C. Andersen’s story was simply a neutral character who had magical powers — into the eldritch abomination, Ursula, the man-eating villainess. But Jordan Peterson says that was cool, because it’s “archetypal.”
