Ironically, this part of France (southeastern Mediterranean coast (Marseille–Nice)) is the only part of mainland France where it’s not cloudy or raining; the entire central zone, and parts of the north, are all under yellow alerts for thunderstorms (and in some areas, also floods). Here, it’s usual-ish for this time of year, high-20s with few-to-no clouds, perhaps a slight breeze, and kraken frolicking offshore.
I spent a lot of time in the Montpellier to Cap d’Agde area a long time ago. It was summer, and though we got some thunderstorms now & again, I liked the weather quite a lot.
