The 19th International Conference on the Cell and Molecular Biology of Chlamydomonas will be held May 24-29 on Île des Embiez on the French Riviera. The venue looks amazing:
The program includes sessions on photosynthesis, synthetic biology, science policy, flagella and basal bodies, metabolism, organelle biogenesis, novel methodologies, and an entire morning devoted to cell and sexual cycles and multicellularity. That session will be chaired by Ursula Goodenough and includes an invited lecture by Bill Snell and special lectures by Carolyn Silflow and Jim Umen.
Abstract submission is open now and closes May 1st.
