The press is now “the enemy”
A threat to our democracy
There’s reason to be scared.
His motive’s clear; he wants to duck
The blame—he’ll try to pass the buck—
For what’s become a clusterfuck
Because he’s ill-prepared.
He’s made it clear to us, he views
The mainstream sorts as “SAD! FAKE NEWS!”
He wants to win, so they must lose
And cave to his demands.
Yes, they must lose so he can win
Then, free from watchdogs, he’ll begin
Consolidating power in
His tiny, tiny hands.
