Headline: Scientists: Band of misfits? (trust me–good stuff after the jump!)

Ok, it’s not as bad as it looks. The article vaguely implies that “The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists” (the UK, and proper, version) was somehow translated into “The Pirates: Band of Misfits”. But, as the article eventually shows, this is not an equating of scientists with misfits, but rather a complete re-titling of the movie… for, really, no apparent reason.

Really, this headline is merely an excuse for me to link the American trailer and the UK trailer, and a bonus American trailer, and you can draw what conclusions you will (I promise, these are worth clicking!). If you think you recognized a young Charles Darwin, you are quite correct. Please, please, please, let that not be the reason the American version changed its name.
