What does he do when he does Twitter? He says Obama goes down the stairs of the plane wrong. He should be doing it slowly and ponderously so that we will all be overawed and a little abject, instead of running down them because dude they’re stairs, you go down them, you don’t savor them and luxuriate in them.
The Donald is kind of a troll.

Before my knees went bad, I used to show exuberance by doing Cossack style kicks while descending (space permitting, of course.) If Obama did that he would be accused of Putin envy.
Kausik Datta says
What is it with clueless conservatives and bad spelling? “hoping”? “bobing”?
And Ophelia, there is no ‘kind of’. 🙂
Ophelia Benson says
Kausik the “kind of” is rhetorical. I’m sure there’s a rhetorical label for it but I don’t know what it is. Like saying something’s a tiny bit naughty when you mean it’s gigantically evil.
Trebuchet says
“inelegant and unpresidential”.
As opposed to the way Republican Gerald Ford descended them….

I have concluded that Mr Trump is not a nice person and I don’t like him.

Trebuchet – you almost made me ruin my keyboard !
Menyambal says
I used to go up stairs three at a time, and down in a kind of controlled slide. It’s kind of sad that I can’t do that now.
Blanche Quizno says
You had me at “Cossack style kicks” 😀
But I must admit, the Chevy Chase falling-down SNL intro that came to mind with that President Ford reference sure is a close second!
– this whole video’s fun.
– I give Ford props there.
Cinzia La Strega says
Like me, the Donald is envious of Obama’s good knees which makes a sprightly public descent possible. And yeah, I’m rather appalled at his bad spelling too, but what do you expect from “a thick-fingered vulgarian?”
F [i'm not here, i'm gone] says
What’s so elegant about being an idiot racist asshole on Twitter? You know a lot of that “elegance” and pomp is due to the fact that old white men (the ruling class) can’t move much, at least historically (and therefore traditionally), if not in fact in the case of a particular previous president?
I’m not the world’s biggest Obama fan, but the more they hate him, the more I love that he is the President. And I would probably shit a brick if these wingnuts ever criticized him on valid grounds, of which there certainly are no lack.
Maureen Brian says
Those of us whose legs are going or gone can only envy the President his knees and delight in his good fortune. But the Donald wouldn’t do that.

Litotes (ironic understatement)?
karmacat says
This coming from a man who has orange and swirly hair.
Shatterface says
If I were Obama I’d exit using by sliding down the emergency evacuation chute because I’d be the most powerful man on Earth and I could do whatever I goddam like.
Pieter B, FCD says
The Donald’s hair is unpresidential, especially in a quartering wind.
moarscienceplz says
I will not stand for Mr. Trump’s appearance being denigrated. The man is obviously providing the top of his head as a much-needed bit of habitat for a golden lion tamarin. Or, possibly some species of marmoset.
Trebuchet says
@6: Thank you, I’ll be here all week.

Trump is giving advice on style…

Totally unrelated but this reminds me of a classic “Two Ronnies” news item:
“Following the recent dispute with the domestic servants’ union at Buckingham Palace, the queen, a radiant figure in a white silk gown and crimson robe, swept down the main staircase and through the hall. She then dusted the cloak room and vacuumed the lounge.”
