Super Potions: Heals 50 HP, costs 700 PokeDollars
Fresh Water: Heals 50 HP, costs 200 PokeDollars
Why…Super Potions are just fresh water that have been marked up because of the fancy label! I’m sure if you read the fine print there’s something about “parts per million” or “Not approved by the PokeFood and Drug Administration.”
Where are all the skeptics in the Pokemon universe to out this scam? Maybe they’re too busy fighting off swarms of Woobats.
…Don’t worry, I’m about the beat the Elite Four, so Pokemon talk will die down soon.

And Lemonade costs less than HyperPotions and deliver 10 HP more. So lemons are even better for you!

Woobat!

‘parts per million’ is way too concentrated to be taken seriously as a homeopathic remedy. 50C (1E-100), 200C (1E-400), 1M (1E-2000 floating_point_underflow_error) and beyond are what it’s about now. If you can find a molecule of your medicine in the known universe it’s not been diluted enough. Can you dilute your PokePotions 10 bzillion times to make them more effective, and sell them?
Azkyroth says
You know, most homeopathic remedies are highly effective….against dehydration.

Best “homeopathic” comment I’ve seen recently: http://twitter.com/dabeaz/stat…

It’s not homeopathic healing, it’s the fact that your Pokemon are suffering from severe dehydration. Giving them a drink of water is better for their health than even the best medicine.

Don’t knock Homeopathy, after all it can alleviate Radiation Sickness — or at least that’s the claim of an Australian Homeopathy group (http://sciencestandards.blogsp…. But why would anyone need it, because according to Ann Coulter, Radiation is good for people. (http://sciencestandards.blogsp…But then I guess it’s only good for Japanese people who might have a nuclear disaster nearby. Because in 2010 body scanners were bad because they pose a radiological risk, according to . . . guess who? Of course, Ann Coulter (http://sciencestandards.blogsp….Ted [email protected]http://sciencestandards.blogsp…

12 days from your “I hate everyone getting the game today” post and now you’ve almost finished?Perhaps we might be able to establish a connection between very bestness and late starting.

I noticed that, I thought it was kind of weird. Soda pop heals 10 HP more, which helps when you don’t want to waste lemonade. It annoys me you can’t just buy a bunch of fresh water – you have to order them ONE AT A TIME.

Once I hit those vending machines I stock up bigtime! I’m so glad there’s more of them and they’re spread out all over the place. I usually go for lemonades because they’re good value for money, kinda like how super repel gives you more steps for your money than max repel.I’ve only just reached the 5th gym… I’m so slow lol. Every time I see something cute I become determined to put it on my team, and that usually requires a bit of grinding to get it up to speed with the others.

Fresh Water is noted for its mineral content. In early Gen III it was “A mineral water”; in late Gen III it was “Water with a high mineral content”; in Gen IV and Gen V it is still “Water with a high mineral content”.

Also, Potions are generally the most economic, commercially available, healing item. In the DIY department, Oran berries healing a percentage increase in value in proportion to max HP.
Beth Zyglowicz says
I’ve been buying Moo Moo Milk; 500 dollars each and they heal 100 HP. Sure, Hyper Potions heal 200 HP, but they’re 1200 dollars. Honestly, once your pokemon get high enough level, you’re better off just buying a ton of Full Restores anyway.
the_Siliconopolitan says
Well, Pokemon is socialist propaganda anyway.
SpitefulFox says
Whatever happened to Rare Candies? Why’d stores discontinue them?!

Why is it that my posts disappear whenever I try to include a link?

But after you beat the elite four, you still have half the map to explore…
Svlad Cjelli says
Which sucks. There’s no way to enjoy the journey AND get to White Forest / Black City before its timer runs out. And I don’t have a way to repopulate it.Stupid Marvelous Bridge checkers. :\
Svlad Cjelli says
Moo Moo Milk is awesome. My in-battle heal of choice. Full Restores are wasteful outside of battle, though.

hahahahahahahaha! It’s so true.(also, it ate a good chunk of my life over the last week… but finally I have beaten Team Plasma…. now there’s just the rest of the map to explore -_-)
MadScutter says
Sure, and then beat the Elite four again and finally the Champion. Wheee! (I usually stock up on the Moo-Moo Milk, being able to buy them by the dozen is worth the slight extra cost over two Fresh Waters). Also: http://www.penny-arcade.com/co…and : http://www.penny-arcade.com/co…

So you see, most pokemon are dehydrated after fighting out in the sun all day. Also, as Hummel just mentioned, they have a problem with scurvy… PokeScurvy…

You can also give your Pokemon herbal remedies, but they’ll hate you for it.
