This week I will be at the APS March Meeting, the largest physics conference in the world (?). Although I am no longer working as a physicist, I have a presentation about the work I did just before leaving.
Will I blog about it? Eh, I didn’t always blog about it in previous years. But my experience may be a little different this time because I can focus on talks that interest me, instead of the ones that are relevant to my work. Anyone want to suggest something from among the 800+ sessions?

Some that caught my eye;
B28. Focus Quantum Thermodynamics – from Quantum Information Theory to Statistical Mechanics
C51. Focus Coherence and Quantum Aspects of Living Systems I
E58. Invited Quantum Foundations
L26. Focus Quantum Foundations I
Q65. Rock-n-Roll Physics Sing-along
R42. Invited Progress in Quantum Thermodynamics
There were a couple with Origami in the title!

@Rob Grigjanis,
I’d usually avoid the focus sessions if they’re on a subject I’m not very familiar with. However, I’m amused by one of the talks in L26 called “The Ironic Many-Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Theory”.
Atomic origami is nothing like paper origami, but I’m definitely checking those out. Soft matter physics tends to be pretty neat even when I don’t understand most of it.

I didn’t look at the details of the sessions, so I missed the MW talk. Not seeing the irony in the abstract, but Matt Leifer’s a smart guy with a sense of humour, so could be good.
