It looks like Harold Camping has raised his head for a rather confused look at the world he did not expect to still be here.
In the five-minute statement, Camping called on his followers not to feel abandoned by God and said whiffing on both the Oct. 21 date and an earlier prediction of May 21 had left him humbled…
In his recording, Camping also apologized to non-saved Christians for suggesting they would be left behind during the rapture. “I shouldn’t have said that,” he said.
You’d almost think there was a lesson there for poor Dr. Camping. But if there was, he missed it.
He also said that his reading of the Bible, and deciphering its true meaning, was far from finished.
“I have been checking my own notes more carefully than ever,” Camping said. “And I do find that there is other language in the Bible that we still have to look at very carefully.”
Either that, or maybe he’s just reading it with the wrong assumptions. Ya think?

How about that part that says no man can know when the world will end.
I don’t think you read that part carefully enough…

I think I would actually feel sorry for the guy if it wasn’t for his bank account.

Given how many people have called him out for his “predictions”, I wonder how long before Mr. Camping plays the victim card…

So not long now before he starts returning all those donations collected under false pretenses…

“Non-saved Christians”? That seems like an oxymoron, by their own standards.

Meh, I like Ragnarok as a better apocalypse, anyway.

And once again, Harold Camping misses the point – but gets the financial rewards.
You’d think that donations are seriously down this time, and his followers were wandering away. But no, like the Mormons and their 1800’s end-of-world predictions, his followers just seem to hang on and on.
