I’m sorry for dropping dead on you once again. Work is very stressful atm and on top of it my health is not up to the task either, mainly my stupid spinal prolapses. The one thing that gives me serious troubles is sitting down. The recent round of fuck this hurts was triggered by having to sit for  2 hours on hard wooden chairs and it took me 4 weeks to get back on my feet. Literally. But that’s also what I need for both my job and for writing a blog, but of course one of those is optional so I have to safe my strength for work. Sorry.

Now, I’m not fishing for sympathy, just letting you know that no, I haven’t lost interest in all of you. Just temporarily (hopefully) the ability to sit at my desk and read and write.

    You may not be fishing for symathy, but you are going to get it nevertheless. Chronic pain is exhausting and if not sitting helps you avoid pain don’t sit! Now I’m going to do that annoying “have you thought of . . ” thing, sorrry, but have you thought of setting up a standing work station? You have presumably got to do some work on the computer for your job, so it might even be something you could get financial help with (I don’t know what German laws are in relation to supporting aids that enable you to keep working). Are you managing crafting? I do hope so, I know crafting is an important oulet for you.

    And yes I’ll be here too when you are able to post.

    Pain is a bugger. I was a bit worried if you are OK. Fingers crossed for it to get better.

    I have never tried to combine shrimp with boiled eggs and noodles…

    @Jazzlet
    I have thought about it, but in the end, there’s only so much time you can be on your feet.

    On the positive side, at least I found an orthopaedic who thinks that pain in itself is worth treating. Sadly, I’d been hoping that he’d say “no, really, with your back you shouldn’t be doing sports” , but unfortunately he said ” That’s great, keep it up!”
