Slime moulds can be quite extraordinary colours, I’ve seen bright intense pink and bright purple examples. It’s a great picture Charly and I too thought “scrambled egg” Voyager.

The fungus does look a bit like butter (voi = butter). However, the structure looks more like munavoi (but without the white pieces of egg yolk, munavoi is a mixture of hard-boiled eggs and butter).
