What a wonderful set of portraits! They’ve all got something magical.

I love the blue wings peeking and the dragons from different angles. Also, it’s always nice to see the shield bug.
The second-to-last looks like some kind of oat, but are the thingies in the last larvae, leaves or fruit?

The detail photo of the dragonfly’s wings is gorgeous. They look a bit like stained glass. My favourite, though, is the butterfly. That wee peek of blue is fabulous.
All of these images are amazing. My favorite is probably the butterfly with the brown/blue wings.
Nightjarsays
Thank you everyone and apologies for being so late this time. That butterfly was very cooperating, showing me its upper wings like that. They rarely do that when I’m chasing them around, it was a very special moment.
Ice Swimmer, the things in the last photo are seedpods, but I don’t know the name of the plant and I can’t remember what the flower looks like to try to identify it.
I love the butterfly (it’s got blue after all), but the first dragonfly is my favourite. It looks like gravity took a break and came back after the photoshooting
