    These are lovely! My favourite is the second one, that path looks magical. It seems there is something hanging from a tree at the center, do you know what it is?

    I guess it’s an insect trap of some sort, but I could be wrong. There was a different kind of insect trap nearby.

    The trap in the link is called hyönteisrysä in Finnish (hyönteinen = insect, rysä = (a large) fish trap*).

    * = Reuse or Aalreuse in German, ryssja or homma in Swedish, a smaller fish trap in Finnish would be katiska or merta**.
    ** = I think this is somewhat funny in some Romance languages.

    Thanks, Ice Swimmer, I remember now that you talked about insect traps on Harakka previously. And yes, you are right, “merta” does sound funny to me. :D
