Many of the buildings had the beams carved. Some had decorated just one or two beams on the edges, some went completely nuts. There is not much more to say, really. Enjoy.

The Beautiful Town Idstein – Part 8 – Fretworks
Those are beautiful… but all I can think about is how much of a pain in the butt they would be when it came time to repaint.

I read the title “Fireworks” at first and thought, ok, static fireworks, but beautiful.
I love how decorative so many buildings are in Europe. You just don’t see that in Canada.
