On the Persian calendar this is New Year’s Eve. As you might guess, spring comes earlier in Iran than it does in these parts. I think I’ll stop at the grocery store after work and get some fruit and nuts for jeweled rice.
I hope not. The snow in Bismarck on Monday was slushy and terrible and any more snow this week is going to be the same. Perfect for accidents.
Yeah, me too. Rick’s in Bismarck today, and we’ll be in tomorrow (chemo), so I hope there won’t be a lot of ice to deal with, but there usually is early am, and we’ll be on the road at 7am. Still well buried here in Almont, but melt’s happening. So tired of this.

But the redstarts have arrived

Your spring is broken. Perhaps you need more springing fluid or something.

Happy Nowruz Joseph!
It’s snowy, frosty and windy here, but that’s kind of normal for March (well, pretty much anything from -10 °C to +5 °C is normal for March here).
Lofty says
Well, happy Equinox, anyway. May your daylight hours grow warmer as well as longer!

Send us your snow. I miss it here in Texas.
I’ve been alternating between the furnace and the air conditioning here.
