As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, the Harry Clarke illustrated Poe’s Tales is still relatively inexpensive and findable on ebay. I see a 1933 edition right now for $20 with no bids. The thing is there are always lots of them so you can just low-ball around for a while until a copy slips through.
That upper illustration… I had too much tequila and nachos once, and had that feeling for a while, before nature asserted itself.
Pretty sure Nature is asserting the crap out of itself in that first illustration.
