The funny thing is that I would never have spotted the pelican if it wasn’t for me observing a fellow cyclist holding her camera phone to the sky. This beach side set of posts has featured in a smart phone picture published on Affinity some time ago, that time there were two real pelicans and one sculpture to be seen. This time of course I had the compact Canon with zoom with me so could get a little more intimate with the pelican. The posts BTW are about 30ft tall and just for decoration at the local river mouth.

That first photo is such an epic angle, and with the pose, I couldn’t wish for a more visionary dinosaur. :D
