Stove-top coffee-machine. Mostly called “Moka” in Italy. Looks like this–and worse!–if used on a gas oven.

He should have seen my old moka before I cleaned it -- it had been extensively used on camp fires.
There were a number of old moka in the households I grew up in, all the great grandparents and grandparents had these, and I have a ridiculous fondness for them.

Oh, Cristoph, no problems -- I put an “all rights reserved” on everyone’s work except my own, because y’know, people like to steal, and while I’ll take chances with my stuff, I won’t with anyone else’s work.
I don’t know quite why I’m so attracted to this, but it gives me warm fuzzies all over.
