The photos are taken in Hesperianpuisto, by the bay Töölönlahti in Helsinki, less than two weeks after the ones from Hietsu (on the opposite side of the Helsinki peninsula), posted yesterday. In that time, the sea ice has melted more or less completely.
In the first picture, two Canada geese.
In the second, barnacle geese and black-headed gulls at a different spot of the same bay (In the far left, also some mallards). In the background on the left is the amusement park Linnanmäki and to the right the hill Linnunlaulu.
In the third barnacle geese grazing in the lawn of the park. There isn’t much green grass, yet. The green structure in the background is a City WC, a free unisex toilet with two separate lockable rooms, one is a unisex urinal and the other is a full wheelchair-accessible toilet with a nappy changing table. One or a few can be found in most parks in Downtown Helsinki.
Beautiful birds. I wish I could see them live here.

The black-headed gulls and barnacle geese do migrate to the coastal areas of Netherlands for winter, but I believe that’s still fairly far away from you.
Barnacle geese seem to do most things (especially eating, they eat like horses) as pairs or groups of pairs, if there is a single goose, they’re going to get a lot of cursing and lunging at, with the attacker head low and neck horizontal.
